About our School

St. John's School was begun in 1886. Classes were conducted in the church. In 1892, a separate school building was constructed. A new school was built in 1956, with an addition added in 1962. In 2000, another addition was built, and much of the old school was converted into office and meeting space. 190 students are enrolled in preschool through 8th grades for the 2011/2012 school year.

St. John's offers an excellent Christian education with proven results. Classes are taught in an atmosphere of warmth and caring, holding to the truth that children who feel safe and happy will be better learners. Our teachers provide the skills necessary to be successful, not only in school, but in life as well. Students support local, national, and international charitable organizations with their chapel offerings. St. John's students are Christ's ambassadors through their gifts of goods, money, aned prayer.
